WHO: Mike Thompson
WHAT: 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
WHERE: Parts Unknown
Hailing from “parts unknown” Mike Thompson and his 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 come to the Street Stompers table from our friends at Nitrous Outlet. The story that we got is Mike started in on this nasty little Camaro in ’99 and has “made some slight modifications” – see something about a poker face in the dictionary here.
Mike has tweaked, tuned, modded and build this Z28 to the next level of performance and we are sure that the “327” stickers mean nothing more than a tribute to the wonderful little mill that this might or might not have started as…in fact the SBC w/ 23° heads, Nitrous Outlet Stinger 3 plate system, full suspension, tube chassis and all the fantastic looking fab work tell us that Mike is not one to be taken lightly – in fact that is all we know of what lurking under the hood of Mike Camaro, you have to start that conversation with Mike yourself.
We do know that Mike started in on this Camaro in 8.50 and X275 brackets and after success there moved on to Ultra Street with (at this time unless we can be corrected) has the fastest pass laying down an impressive email@example.com – boys and girls that is hauling the mail and Mike has the mail bag wide open for you to drop you cash in.
A great image of just one of the blistering run Mike and his Camaro have paid down…
