From the Hedman PR desk…Since the new millennium, Chevy Silverado, its identical twin GMC Sierra, Yukons and Suburbans have been the most popular trucks and SUVs on the road. They are utilitarian, versatile, and the available Vortec LS engines made them reliable. While they may not have been considered the most powerful trucks in their day, the LS powerplants they came with have become the “go-to” engine for automotive hobbyist and custom builders.

Nearly 20 years after their release, these trucks remain extremely popular, only owners now have a much broader selection of products to improve its engine’s performance and chassis’ handling. If you’ve been to an autocross event recently, many of them now have dedicated truck classes, and chances are, there are a few of these trucks running incredibly fast times on the course.

These 1-5/8″ diameter, mandrel bent tube headers install without modification, and offer the smoothest exhaust flow possible. The long tube design provides your LS engine ample runner length and volume to accommodate the additional exhaust flow requirements your truck will need to perform at its peak, especially if you plan on installing other power adders (i.e.: supercharger, upgraded intake, cam, engine tune, throttle body spacer). If your engine can’t get rid of the spent gasses, your not going to get maximum performance from any of your add-ons.
